Norton Engineering Consultants signs exclusive license agreements with the University of South Alabama expanding emissions control technology offerings to include CO2 Capture
Norton Engineering Consultants, Inc. (NEC) has entered license agreements with the University of South Alabama (USA) to exclusively produce and supply non-volatile aqueous ionic amines (AIMs) for general use and to incorporate AIMs into processes for CO2 capture from combustion sources, including NEC’s proprietary flue gas scrubbing technology. NEC and USA are committed to introducing this technology to industrial clients in the oil refining, petrochemical, manufacturing and power industries to reduce emissions of CO2 and possibly other greenhouse gases (GHG’s).
